I’m India: founder since 14, Florida A&M University alumna, cinematic storyteller, and the voice behind The Honest Creative.

My entrepreneurial journey started at 14, when I wrote a business plan for a natural care brand. By 16, I owned Synai Symone LLC. By 18, I had launched five natural haircare products, and today the brand carries 11 products made for kinky, curly, and coily hair. Formulating, producing, and marketing those products taught me business, marketing, advertising, and PR the hard way, all while I was still in school and figuring it out on my own.

I spent years building businesses alongside my corporate career. At 22, I landed my “dream” role and was immediately given an ultimatum: keep the position or keep my businesses. I chose my businesses (duh).

Why IANYS Creative Exists

IANYS Creative is the platform I wish existed back then: a place for creatives to learn, grow, and build without being forced into a box that was never made for them. It started as an education hub for business, marketing, and PR. Today it’s home to everything I do as The Honest Creative.

What I Do Now

I’m building a life by design and sharing what that looks like through my own content, honestly: the wins, the process, and the parts most people edit out. I teach creatives the editing, storytelling, and content skills behind my work, and I bring that same storytelling to brands that get the vision.
